ヨドバシカメラグループ3社（株式会社ヨドバシカメラ、株式会社石井スポーツ、株式会社ヨドバシ建物）は、日本国内における免税制度のリファンド方式への移行に伴い、2026年11月1日（日）より、全国のヨドバシカメラ全店、石井スポーツ・アートスポーツ全店、およびヨドバシ建物が運営・管理する商業施設LINKS内店舗（一部）において新免税制度に対応した運用を開始いたします。あわせて、訪日外国人旅行者の利便性向上を目的に、ヨドバシカメラ主要11店舗において、その場ですぐに免税還付額を現金で受け取ることができる「市中リファンドサービス」の提供を開始いたします。

■免税制度変更の概要

2026年11月1日以降、日本国内における消費税免税制度は、現行の店頭即時免税から、出国時に税関承認を経て消費税の還付を受ける「リファンド方式」へと全面移行いたします。これに伴い、ヨドバシカメラ全店、石井スポーツ・アートスポーツ全店、およびLINKS内一部店舗において、新制度に対応した免税手続きフローを導入し、法改正後も訪日外国人のお客様が迷うことなくスムーズにお買い物を楽しめる環境を整備します。

従来（2026年10月31日まで） 購買時に店頭にて消費税相当額を即時に控除し、税抜価格にて決済する方式。

今後（2026年11月1日以降） 購買時は一度消費税を含む金額（税込価格）にて決済を行い、その後、所定の手続きを経て消費税分の還付（リファンド）を受ける方式。

■ヨドバシカメラ主要11店舗限定 「市中リファンドサービス」の詳細

新制度に伴う訪日外国人旅行者の利便性低下を防止するため、全国の主要ターミナル駅直結・至近という立地特性を活かし、ヨドバシカメラ11店舗に免税カウンターを設置し、店頭で現金還付を受けられる「市中リファンドサービス」を提供いたします。

・滞在中の現金還付による利便性向上
店頭手続きにおいて「現金」での還付を選択された場合、その場で即時に現金での還付を受け取ることが可能です。還付金は、滞在中の観光・飲食・追加ショッピング等に即座に活用いただけます。

・他店舗購入分の手続き対応
ヨドバシカメラグループ店舗でのお買い上げ商品に加え、国内のGlobal Blue加盟店で購入された免税対象商品についても、ヨドバシカメラ店頭の免税カウンターにて還付手続きを行うことが可能です。

※注意：店頭にて事前に還付を受けた場合であっても、日本の法令に基づき、出国時に空港・港の税関において「購入商品」および「パスポート」等を提示する所定の承認手続きが必須となります。

※市中リファンドサービスのご利用にあたっては、クレジットカードのご登録が必要となります。出国時に税関での承認手続きが完了しなかった場合は、事前還付した金額をご登録のクレジットカードへご請求いたします。

[Yodobashi Camera Group] Implementation of the New Tax-Free System (Refund System) Effective November 1, 2026

The three Yodobashi Camera Group companies (Yodobashi Camera Co., Ltd., Ishii Sports Co., Ltd., and Yodobashi Tatemono Co., Ltd.) will begin operations under the new tax-free system on Sunday, November 1, 2026, across all Yodobashi Camera stores nationwide, all Ishii Sports and Art Sports stores, and select stores within LINKS, a commercial facility operated and managed by Yodobashi Tatemono, in line with the transition to a refund-based tax-free system in Japan. Additionally, to enhance convenience for foreign tourists visiting Japan, we will launch a “Downtown Refund Service” at 11 major Yodobashi Camera stores, allowing customers to receive their tax refund in cash immediately on-site.

■ Overview of the Tax-Free System Changes

Starting November 1, 2026, Japan’s consumption tax exemption system will fully transition from the current immediate tax exemption at store counters to a “refund system,” where consumption tax is refunded following customs clearance upon departure. Accordingly, all Yodobashi Camera stores, all Ishii Sports and Art Sports stores, and select stores within LINKS will introduce tax-free procedures compliant with the new system, creating an environment where international visitors to Japan can enjoy a smooth, hassle-free shopping experience even after the law changes.

Previous System (Until October 31, 2026): A method where the consumption tax amount is deducted immediately at the counter at the time of purchase, with payment processed at the tax-excluded price. New System (From November 1, 2026 onward): A method where payment is made initially for the amount including consumption tax (tax-included price), and the consumption tax amount is subsequently refunded after completing the prescribed procedures.

■ Details of the “Downtown Refund Service” Exclusive to 11 Major Yodobashi Camera Stores

To prevent any decrease in convenience for foreign tourists visiting Japan due to the new system, we will leverage our strategic locations directly connected to or located very close to major terminal stations nationwide. We will set up tax-free counters at 11 Yodobashi Camera stores to offer a “Downtown Refund Service,” enabling customers to receive cash refunds right at the store.

・ Enhanced Convenience via Cash Refunds During Stay If “cash” is selected for the refund method during counter procedures, customers can receive their cash refund immediately on the spot. The refunded amount can be used right away for sightseeing, dining, additional shopping, and other activities during their stay.

・ Processing Purchases from Other Merchants In addition to products purchased at Yodobashi Camera Group stores, tax-free eligible items purchased at other Global Blue affiliated merchants within Japan can also be processed for tax refunds at the tax-free counters inside Yodobashi Camera stores.

*Note: Even if a refund is received in advance at the store, Japanese laws and regulations mandate that customers complete the prescribed approval procedure by presenting their purchased items, passport, etc., at airport or port customs upon departure.

*To use the Downtown Refund Service, credit card registration is required. If the customs approval procedure is not completed upon departure, the amount refunded in advance will be charged to the registered credit card.
